Madam suh kitaorang sambung plot daripada cerita 'Lamb to the Slaughter'. Kira ending kitaorang semua lain2. Cite ni kisah pembunuhan, pembunuh dia terlepas dan senjata dia hampir dimusnahkan.
Jadi, aku tekad nak tangkap pembunuh tu tapi tak boleh ler main tangkap tanpa bukti an? So, aku sanggup baca komik 'Detective Conan' sampai episod 100 just untuk dapatkan idea. Mereng tak? Therefore, tercipta lar cite yang agak merepek dan perasan ala detektif ni. Enjoy~ *Starting cite dia boleh baca kat SINI*
*Ni hasil tulisan kitaorang*
Nevertheless, Edmund did not join the feast. Why there were droplets near the corpse? Tears? There were too many of them and droplets is cold. But, something kept bothering Edmund.
"Care for a drink?"
Edmund turned and saw Mary Maloney handed him a glass of wine with her left hand. He smiled and took a sip. Before the glass could reach her hand, something caught his eyes.
"Your palm. There's a cut."
"Oh. I have this when I cut the vegetables."
Mary Maloney just stared at her left palm. Edmund's expression was empty but he decided to leave the room where the husband died. In the kitchen, his teammates were still eating.
"Edmund, do join the feast," Mary Maloney invited him.
But, Edmund just shook his head and there he saw a wrapping paper near the sink. He took it and felt the paper with his fingertips. Judging by the smell, it was used to wrap the lamb that his teammates were eating. Edmund just nodded his head and put the wrapping paper back on its previous position.
"The murderer was you, Mrs Maloney!"
Everyone in the kitchen was shocked! Mary Maloney was petrified with his statement.
"That's impossible! She was at the shop when it happened." Sergeant Noonan raised his voice.
"As you said earlier, Mr Maloney arrived before five and she went to the shop at 5.30 PM and reached there about 6.00 PM. She called the police the police at 6.15 PM. What bothers me is how come she took thirty minutes to go to the shop but managed to arrive back by only fifteen minutes? Even if what she said was true but judging by the condition of the corpse, he died about 5.00 PM to 5.30 PM."
Suddenly Edmund threw a pen towards her. She caught it with her left hand and looked at him. Again, Edmund smiled.
"You're left handed but how did you get you left palm cut? You hold a knife with your left hand and even if you accidentally cut your hand, it only can hurt your right one. Tell me again, Mrs Maloney, how did you get your left palm cut? Is it because when you were holding the weapon?"
Silence. But, Sergeant Noonan came up front.
"Even if it's true, then where's the weapon?"
"In your stomach! You ate the weapon. The weapon was the lamb."
"Where's your prove?" asked Mary Maloney.
"Look at the crime scene. There were droplets near where Patrick died. There were no leaks. And the droplets is icy cold. And there is also droplets on the wrapping paper that wrapped the lamb. Isn't that right, Mrs Maloney?"
Everyone look at her. She grew silent but still smiling. Tears began to roll from her eyes. It was a cold one. Colder than ice.
"I just wanted to send Patrick to heaven. If he lives, he would hurt me and he'll be sent to hell."
And the case was solved. She was sent to the psychotherapist for a serious treatment. But there were words that Edmund could never forget. The last word from Mary Maloney, "I'll be back."
